In Poland, Germany and the Czech Republic, they recorded several dozen hours of excellent studio material, only a small part of which was released on discs in the 1970s. But their element was primarily the stage. They felt great at great festivals such as Roskilde, in intimate clubs in Germany, but also at the prestigious Congress Hall in Warsaw - which you can now see for yourself.
After the album "Jazz nad Odrą 1975", which was well received by fans and journalists, the time has come to document the last months of the operation of the original incarnation of SBB. In April 1980, the musicians played a series of concerts in Poland, where fresh, improvised forms reigned supreme, fueled by brilliant dialogues and guitar duels of Apostolis Antymos and Sławomir Piwowar. On the one hand, SBB continued to cultivate its progressive fascinations by presenting the suite "Going Away" or the premiere song "My land dreamed", but on the other hand, it often sounded like a purebred American jamband, which can play with its own music in a creative, surprising and tiring way by … Two and a half hour!
The material was remastered from the original tapes from the archives of Józef Skrzek and enriched with a booklet containing, among others unknown photos of Tomasz Sikora and Zygmunt Drużbicki.
