This album is a hidden name of Techno Fusion with a colorful, packed-in feel from the early 80s. At that time, we remembered that we created a kindergarten instrument that mimics "Dance of The Coco-Palms" from YAMAHA CS-15 ping pong recording.

--- Eguchi Sushi (Manga artist)

I was waiting for it. How many years have you been waiting for...

Accidentally, really by chance, without whatsoever, “I'm not hooking anything again...” and try searching, this is at the top of the search results. I already purchased it with haste and expedited shipping. I'm just listening to it right now.

I got to know this record board another quarter century ago. I happened to see Yuji Ohno, who only knew in anime music at the time and bought it casually, but I was shocked by the kind of synthesizer music I have never heard before. The feeling of that time has been revived now and there.

Trying to dubbing into the cassette for listening repeatedly, the strong sound of attack is easy to shake off the peak meter than the feeling I heard, I was reminded of nostalgic (I struggled a lot until I finally got a satisfactory result with the DX8 with the largest dynamic range of the time).

At that time, techno pop such as YMO has already been blaking, and before that Isao Tomita was generalizing the synthesizer music itself, in such a way, It's just different from that flow... Yuji Ohno showed me a unique world to say “techno fusion” in the words of Mr. Eguchi.

Although the taste of these songs can be felt like he goes to his other works, it showed a new direction by using a synthesizer that was still developing as a means of expression I think.

The record that was in my parents' home has long been missing (maybe because of my brother or dad), and there is no sign to be CDed in the opposite direction, “no longer request a radio program I thought it was not...”, this reprint is really glad. It is also a paper jacket specification, reminds me of the record era, or it can not be said that it is a fun project in some sense (if you care about preservability, you need to buy a case separately).

Magic Islands is a masterpiece...

This was a request from a frequent visitor, the review I google translated from Amazon... so if anyone feels like pitching in... please tell us!
