Little is known of this quirky Philadelphia singer-songwriter, whose delicate vocals and catchy songwriting have earned him comparison with Donovan and the Bee Gees and won him a considerable cult reputation. This unusual album, which blends melodic folk-pop with extravagant orchestral interludes, a straight up gorgeous lost album of pastoral psych folk from Aaron Lightman -- and an odd, but pretty beautiful blend of troubadour style songs that are all deeply fleshed out in soaring instrumental interludes! These passages pillow Aaron's airy guitar and voice tunes within or around some pretty soaring strings that lend a quality that's somehow disjointed and calming at the same time. They often get quite orchestral, but Aaron's decisively earthy songcraft somehow grounds all of this grandeur quite beautifully!
