Blind Ravage from Montreal was formed in the late '60s by well-seasoned musicians, including keyboard virtuoso Serge Fleury and ace guitar player Jean Charbonneau. In 1971 they released their only album on the Crescent Streel label. The music is hard-rock with bluesy overtones featuring heavy guitar playing, punkish vocals and swirling Hammond organ. You get nine original songs, plus a killer hard-rock version of 'Susie Q'.

Great fuzzed out 1971 LP from this Quebec band. The above album by this Montreal, Quebec-based hard rock band with psychedelic overtones and some excellent guitar work is highly-rated. Apart from the Hawkins-Lewis-Broadwater composition, Susie Q, all the tracks on the album are originals. Only problem is that musically it lacks diversity, but the final two tracks, Disaster and Loser catch the ear.

Fairly typical of it's vintage, guitar-organ-bass-drums sound. The majority of their mat'l is semi-commercial hard rock. A close associate described them as "a cool bar band", for whatever that's worth. Psych influences are minimal at best. Grades - 1 B+, 6 B's, 2 B-'s, and a C+, quite consistent, to say the least. They were from Montreal, and their only album was originally released on Crescent Street Records.
